Neiman is currently an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Millersville University. He joined the Marauders after spending the 2010 and 2011 seasons as the assistant coach and catching instructor at the University of Maryland.
During his two years at Maryland, Neiman developed catchers Aaron Etchison and Jack Cleary and saw them throw out 66% of possible base stealers.
Prior to Maryland Neiman served as an assistant coach and catching instructor at Florida Gulf Coast Univeristy in 2009. While at FGCU, the Eagles won the Atlantic Sun regular season championship with a 23-7 conference mark and Neiman saw catcher Bobby Green throw out 56% of would-be base stealers throughout the year, good for tops in the A-Sun.
Prior to his stint at FGCU, Neiman spent two seasons (2007-08) as the top assistant and recruiting coordinator at DeSales University. In 2008 Neiman played a strong role in guiding the Bulldogs to a Freedom Conference Championship and saw two players named to the Mid Atlantic All-Region Team, eight to the all Freedom Conference Team including catcher Doc Neiman as a first team all Freedom Conference selection, and freshman Mike Newland named Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year.
In 2007, Neiman's first year in Center Valley, the Bulldogs had two players named to the Mid Atlantic All-Region Team, seven named to the all Freedom Conference Team, while freshman catcher Doc Neiman was named Freedom Conference Rookie of the Year as well as an all Freedom Conference selection..
Before joining the Bulldogs, Neiman served as an assistant coach at the University of Pennsylvania where is watch junior catcher Josh Corn work his way to the top of catchers in the Ivy League.
In addition, he served as the head coach for the New Market Rebels in the Valley League in 2008 and the Limeport Milkmen in 2007. Overall Neiman has seen 28 former players sign professional contracts.
Neiman attended DeSales University, where he was a three-year starter for the Bulldogs. He helped lead the Bulldogs to four consecutive Freedom Conference Championships, four NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Tournaments, helped capture the school's first-ever regional championship and was a member of the only team in school history to advance to the NCAA Division III College World Series in 2003.
At DeSales, Neiman earned all Freedom Conference honors three times, was named the Freedom Conference Player of the Year his junior year and earned American Baseball Coaches Association all Mid-Atlantic Regional honors three times. After graduation Neiman played professional for the New Jersey Jackals in the Cam Am league. He graduated with a bachelor's degree in sport management.
